Introducing 'The Mindful Mum Method!'


When I first become a mother I was overwhelmed by the sudden change in mindset, all of a sudden you are handed a tiny person who relies on you for absolutely everything, and then it becomes very easy for looking after yourself, physically and mentally to fall to the bottom of the pile.


I found my feelings were being echoed by friends and in mum groups


"I'm so overwhelmed"


"I feel like I have lost myself"


"I feel like I am failing"


"I can't stop shouting"


"I'm so touched out"


It was this, struggling with being in control of my feelings, and watching friends do the same that led my in to studying hypnotherapy, and to specialising in helping women before, during and after pregnancy.


During my time as a hypnotherapist I have seen the same with clients, feeling overwhelmed, anxious, struggling with the mental load of motherhood and wanting help.


I wanted a way to be able to help more mums in need, this led me to creating The Mindful Mum Method.


A 6 week program using psychotherapy, hypnosis, journaling and mindfulness to help let go of negative and limiting self-beliefs, thoughts and feelings and replace these with helpful and positive thoughts and emotions, allowing the participants to feel more confident in their abilities.



What we will cover during the program


Week 1 - Goal Setting


Why are you here and what do you want to achieve during this course? A look at how our brains work and why we get triggered by the things they do.


Week 2 - Mum Guilt and Negative Self-Talk


Why do we get stuck in negative self-talk cycles? How to start treating ourselves like our best friend.


Week 3 - How to Embrace the Chaos


How we can change our mindsets to know that things won’t always run smoothly, without feeling anxious or overwhelmed.


Week 4 - Accepting the Unexpected


Sometimes life can throw things at us, we will talk about how we can learn to allow these things to happen, and look at letting go of negative feelings we are holding on to from past events.


Week 5 - Finding Yourself Again


We can sometimes feel we have ‘lost’ ourselves in motherhood, we will discuss who we want to be, and how to hold on to the things we want to about the ‘old’ us.


Week 6 - Enjoying Your New Journey


Taking the things we have learnt from the program and learning how to continue applying them to your everyday life.

The Mindful Mum Method is there to help anyone who is feeling stressed, overwhelmed, burnt out, like they are failing or not good enough.


You need to commit to meeting every Thursday evening via zoom for 6 weeks. There will be a tiny bit of 'homework' each week with journaling prompts, and a hypnosis recording to listen to at least once during the week.
